This article concerns travel between Aylesbury Interchange (AI) and Luton Airport. Aylesbury Interchange (AI) might be located between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury, as in the plan below, or to the north west of Aylesbury.
There used to be a railway line from Leighton Buzzard via Dunstable to Luton.
As part of this former railway line, Luton to Dunstable is being transformed into a busway. Further details are (or were) available here (article opens in new tab or window) : Luton Dunstable busway .
It seems that express bus services will be able to use the busway within Luton and Dunstable. The most evident means of travel between Aylesbury Interchange (AI) and Luton Airport would seem to be a bus service from AI to Dunstable, Luton and Luton Airport.
The busway stop at Luton provides a passenger interchange with the Midland Main Line station at Luton. Therefore a bus service from AI to Dunstable, Luton and Luton Airport would also serve as a means of travel between AI and the Midland Main Line at Luton.
Additionally, direct train services from the Midland Main Line via the Bedford to Bletchley line to AI would seem to be a possibility.
